This past year at The Lumberyard has been such a gift — a year of growth, connection, and watching small businesses take root and thrive. Celebrating one year was a meaningful milestone, but in many ways, it also feels like just the beginning.
As we look ahead, we’re excited about what’s coming and how The Lumberyard will continue to be a place where our community gathers, shops local, and supports the dreams of entrepreneurs.
Here’s a look at what’s next.
Seasonal Farmers Markets – Starting in May
One of the things we love most is bringing people together, and our Farmers Markets do exactly that.

Beginning in May, we’ll be hosting Seasonal Farmers Markets featuring local makers, vendors, and small businesses. These markets are a wonderful way to discover handmade goods, homegrown favorites, and unique local finds — all while supporting neighbors and friends.
Whether you’re a shopper or a vendor, these events are a highlight of the year and a fun way to experience The Lumberyard.
The Lumber Lane Gallery – Always Something New to See
If you haven’t walked through The Lumber Lane Gallery lately, now is the time.

Our gallery artwork changes out every two months, which means there is always something fresh and inspiring to enjoy. It’s a beautiful way to experience local creativity, and a perfect reason to stop in often and see what’s new.
Art has a way of bringing warmth and life into a space, and we’re grateful to showcase so many talented artists right here in our community.
A Big Announcement: East Side Renovations Are Coming
We’re excited to share that Dave is beginning renovations on the east side of the building, opening up a brand new space for another small business to call The Lumberyard home.

This new space will be approximately the same size as Refuge, or it can be divided into two or three smaller business spaces. Our heart is to continue building a place where local entrepreneurs can grow and where our community can discover and support even more small businesses.
This renovation is a big step forward, and we can’t wait to see what it becomes.
