Join Us for an Employee Reunion for Graves Lumber and INR Beaty Lumber
At The Lumberyard, every board, beam, and brick carries a story.
Long before our building became a gathering place for coffee, creativity, and small businesses, it served a different purpose—one rooted in hard work, craftsmanship, and community. As a former working lumberyard, this space was once home to the dedicated teams of Graves Lumber and INR Beaty Lumber, where generations of employees helped build not only structures, but lasting relationships.
Today, we’re proud to carry that legacy forward—and on May 2nd from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we invite you to be part of a very special event: The Lumberyard Employee Reunion.

A Morning of Memories and Connection
Held alongside our Lumberyard Farmers Market, this reunion is a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, share stories, and celebrate the history that shaped this space into what it is today.
We’re especially honored to welcome former employees of Graves Lumber and INR Beaty Lumber. Whether you worked here for a summer or spent decades in the yard, you are part of this story—and we would love to see you back.
Capturing a Legacy
At 10:00 AM, we’ll gather in front of the building for a group photo—a moment to bring together the people who made this place what it was.
Throughout the morning, we’ll also be recording video interviews with past employees. These stories will be preserved in a special video memory book, helping us honor more than 100 years of history and ensure these memories live on for future generations.
Then and Now
While The Lumberyard has evolved into a home for a coffee shop, small businesses, offices, retail, and an art gallery, its foundation remains the same: people, purpose, and community.
This reunion is more than an event—it’s a bridge between past and present, a way to celebrate the legacy that continues to inspire everything we do today.
